Content Description
The collection contains plans, alumni list, brief history of the college, analysis of building facilities report, and development for a new school of mines. There are also correspondence, news clippings, notes on the building fund to create and fund of the Mines building which opened in 1961. Also a signed guestbook from the opening ceremony.

Biographical / Historical
The new College of Mines building opened in 1961. It was designed by Hicks and James, Culler, Gale, Martell, Norrie and Davis (Coeur d'Alene). The General contractor was Commercial Builders (Moscow)
The building is three stories, 28,275 sq. ft., concrete frame with prestressed concrete T-floor and roof system, curtain wall with multi-colored porcelain enamel panels, concrete masonry interior walls and some brick masonry exterior.
