Scope and Contents

Included in the first three series of this record group are the grant applications, budgets, reports on research progress, and copies of publications resulting from the gra nt award. Some related correspondence and internal memos are also included. Folders are arranged chronologically by grant number.

The fourth series, Grant/Contract Activity Reports, contains computer generated year end reports prepared by the Research Office which show financial activity for each grant. These are arranged by department.

Boxes 8-20 contain final reports, grant success reports, proposals, meeting minutes, news clippings, photos, federal register, and restricted information.

Immediate Source of Acquisition

The Records of the University of Idaho Research Office were transferred to the Library between February 1990 and March 1997.

Bibliography

The University Research Office administers grants awarded by the Research Council, the State Board of Education, and other funding institutions.
