College of Agriculture Experiment Station And Extension reports
Scope and Contents
This record group consists of annual reports from the branch experiment stations, various departments within the college of agriculture, projects under the auspices of the extension divisions, and several U.S. Department of Agriculture projects, some of which were developed in conjunction with the university.
The reports which span the years 1909 to 1974 are separated into three series, Experiment Station, Extension, and Cooperative and Other Programs. Reports within each series are alphabetical by department or subject.
Some filing anomalies exist. The Caldwell Substation and the Bull Investigation Reports were both started by the Extension Division and completed by the Experiment Station; these are all filed under Experiment Station. Some of the university department reports include reports of the Experiment Station, Extension Division and the University; these are filed under the Experiment Station. After the 1938 season the Felt High Altitude Station was moved to Tetonia; these two reports are filed separately. Part two of the Aberdeen substation annual reports are filed under Cereal Investigations.
Many gaps appear in the reports. For that reason all years for which reports are present are listed in the following inventory.
