Scope and Contents
The records in this collection include membership ledgers for the Moscow Council, papers from Knights of Columbus Idaho State Council conventions, Supreme Council, Idaho State Council bylaws, Supreme Council publications and state and local Knights of Columbus newsletters. Additionally, there are nine oversized minute books of Knights of Columbus Moscow Council 1397 meeting minutes from the years 1914-1984. There are also papers related to the Father Cataldo Assembly #0182, Idaho State Council Knights of Columbus bylaws (1976) and reports of the proceedings of the first annual convention of the State Council in 1907.

Knights of Columbus is a religious fraternal organization affiliated with the Roman Catholic church founded in 1882. Moscow Council 1397 received its charter April 18, 1909 with 41 charter members.
