Biographical / Historical
Olevia Smith attended the University of Idaho in the late 1940s. She was very active on campus. Smith was a member of the Women's Veterans' association, reported for the Argonaut, and was a member of the Idaho Club. She even won an annual scholarship awarded to Idaho journalism students by the Statesman newspapers of Boise in 1948. Little else is known about Olevia Smith after she left the U of I.
