Bundles for Britain correspondence
Content Description
Bundles for Britain was a charity started at the beginning of World War II. This colleciton includes letters (two signed by Clementine Churchill), memoranda, and photographs concerning a donation from the University of Idaho students' Moscow Branch of Bundles for Britain to the Bristol Royal Hospital for Sick Children and Women. It also contains a history of the hospital. The photographs within this group show damage from bombs.

Biographical / Historical
Bundles for Britain was started in 1940 by Natalie Wale Latham. Clothing items were made or bought and shippped to Britain. Moscow, Idaho maintained it's own branch, and the University of Idaho hosted various events throughout the war. The university sent many contributions to the charity on behalf of the students, staff and faculty, and the local community.
