Walter Preston Scott was a University of Idaho student in the early 1910s. He kept a scrapbook of his time spent at the university. The photographs included are images of fellow students, campus events, and university buildings.

Biographical / Historical
Walter Preston Scott was born in Boise, Idaho and attended Boise High School. After graduation he enrolled at the University of Idaho in 1912. He was an active student on campus, participating in basketball, football, theater, the Pan Hellenic Council, and the Frolic Committee. He was the Assistant Business Manager and Business Manager of the Argonaut and the business manager for the 1914 Gem of the Mountains yearbook. Scott was also President of the Associated Miners, President of the Senior Class, a member of Zeta Delta, and Tau Alpha, and was a Sergeant in Company "A" of the first military organization at the Unviversity of Idaho.
