ALSC Architects began in 1948, founded by Thomas R. Adkinson. The timeline for ALSC Architects is as follows:

McClure and Adkinson (1948-1967) Thomas R. Adkinson (1967-1970) Adkinson Architrects (1970-1973) Adkinson Leigh Sims Cuppage Architects (1973-1987) ALSC Architects, P. S. (1987-Present)

When the University of Idaho wanted to develop a campus in Sandpoint, Idaho, ALSC was brought in to help with the vision. ALSC created floor plans which illustrated the new campus and its buildings.

Lynn baird gave these materials to Gwen Reese, former Head of Special Collections and Archives. It was originally accessioned as a manuscript accession (MA) because the items are from ALSC Architects (not a U of I unit).
