Content Description
William N. Woodall worked on various large scale construction projects throughout the state of Idaho, as well as across the country. This scrapbook outlines shares a glimpse into many of those projects, as well as what was happening at the time. The scrapbook was left in original order to preseve continutity.

Biographical / Historical
William N. Woodall was born on December 18, 1900 in Columbus, Ohio. Woodall joined Morrison-Knudsen in 1920 at Emmett, Idaho during the construction of Canyon Tunnel.
In the following years he participated in the building of highways and railroads throughout Idaho, California, Montana, Oregon, and Colorado. In 1940, Woodall became the Morrison-Knudsen superintendent at the Glenville Dam Project in Sylva, North Carolina. A year later he returned to Idaho to be superintendent of the Anderson Dam Project. This project was completed in 1945. Woodall also worked on the inaugurate construction at Lucky Peak Dam near Boise in 1950. He began his own construction company in 1952, and operated under the name Eagle Construction Company for eight years.
William N. Woodall died on August 6, 1961 in Boise, Idaho.
