Biographical / Historical
The Moscow Food Co-op opened in 1973 as the Good Food Store. From the start, it's community-centerd approach and focus on natural foods was quite popular and the store quickly expanded. To support it's growing business, the Co-op moved six times over the years. To further support local producers, the Co-op established the Farmers Market, which is still one of Moscow's most cherished parts of the community.
