Biographical / Historical

Robert Church Day grew up and was educated in Burley, Idaho and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. After receiving a degree from the University of Idaho in 1949, he pursued a career in education in public schools in Carey, Idaho. He earned a Ph.d. from Utah State University and was employed by the Idaho Education Association. Upon retiring, he spent three years as a principal in Newtok and Akiak, Alaska.
