Content Description
Collection consists primarily of photographs from Student Union Building staff events from around the 1990s. There are also images of the addition construction of the SUB. There are also photographs of Gale Mix and Dean Vettrus, student union directors, and laminated newspaper clippings.

Biographical / Historical
The Student Union Building on the Moscow campus was bought from Dean of Women Permeal French and converted in 1936. It was used for student activities and as a food court. Additions were added 1948, 1961, 1962, 1963, and in 2000.
Gale Mix served as general manager of the Associated Students of the University of Idaho, alumni, director, and athletics manager. He also managed the Student Union Building until his retirement.
Dean Vettrus was Director of the Student Union, Advisor for the Associated Students, student media, amongst other responsibilities. He served 33 years at the university.
