Biographical / Historical
Previous faculty secretaries were Bruce Bray and Duane J. LeTourneau. Bray was faculty secretary from 1968 until 1988 and LeTourneau filled the position for the past two years.
Kathleen Ruth Peck Probasco Ketchum (1946-2012) was editor, family historian/genealogist, listener, world traveler. She earned a bachelor's degree in music education in 1968 from the University of Michigan. Her first supervisor at the University of Idaho was Don Kees, director of the Student Counseling Center, where she served as receptionist. Then Bruce Bray, a colleague from the School of Music, told her about his new job as faculty secretary and Kathy persuaded Bruce to hire her as his office manager. Bruce was her mentor until his retirement in 1990 and she owed much to him for her career choices and success.
Kathy's position was transferred to the Registrar's Office in 1992 with the new title of associate registrar and academic publications editor. She continued to edit the General Catalog and the Graduate Catalog, shepherd catalog changes through the various faculty committees and supervise various staff members in the office. She earned the title "Honored Staff Retiree" on Mar. 1, 2001.

Abstract
Questionnaire and statistical analysis related to the Faculty Secretary's office.
Arrangement
The questionnaires did not all have written comments. A sampling was kept and the rest were discarded. All 66 letters written by Bruce Bray were still in their original envelopes, but now the letters are unfolded with their envelope clipped onto them. The letters are separated by size, with standard size letters in one folder and smaller letters in another.
Immediate Source of Acquisition
Materials received from Arla Marousek in 1991 (UA 1991-43) and Joana Espinoza in 2019 (UA 2020-04).
