Biographical / Historical
Staff Council represents and advocates for board-appointed staff at the University of Idaho. Staff Affairs changed its name to Staff Council.
The Staff Affairs papers from Karen Davis. Karen Carlson Davis-Talbott (1941-2021) She was born Sept. 19, 1941, in Lander, Wyo., to parents Frank and Ruby Carlson.
She was a graduate research assistant at University of Wyoming. She taught first grade in Albin, Wyo., then obtained a position as laboratory technician at University of Wyoming a year later. She earned a Master of Science in Home Economics from the University of Wyoming. After relocating to Moscow, she held the position of assistant research professor of home economics research at the University of Idaho from 1976-1987.
