Biographical / Historical

Dean Panttaja, Ph.D. is a University of Idaho professor emeritus. He has served as Director of General Education and Assessment and Producer, Artistic Direct and Designer for Idaho Repertory Theatre. He earned an M.F.A., 1983, Scenic and Lighting Design, Humboldt State University, Arcata, California; Ph.D., 1995, Education, University of Idaho, Moscow, Idaho. He has served in multiple roles for the United Institute for Theatre Technology (USITT) on the regional and national level--including Regional Chair and National Director of Special Exhibits.
