Biographical / Historical
The Faculty Council formed a committee of former chairmen to assess the faculty’s satisfaction with their employer. This survey had five satisfaction categories: “very content,” “very content to satisfied,” “satisfied,” “satisfied to not pleased,” and “not pleased.” Other questions included what was favorable and unfavorable about the University of Idaho. Data was also collected on the anonymous faculty members, such as their sex, how long they had been at UI, their position, and department. Not all faculty was inquired, only those in teaching positions qualified for participation.
