Materials in this collection were retrieved from the CALS Vertical File which were pulled during a review of the VF and from various accessions. Some materials were separated and added to UG 156 (College of Agricultural and Life Sciences collection) and UG 158 (4-H collection). Additional materials were added from material transfers from Extension and the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences and added to the end of the finding aid.

This collection was arranged in multiple series. The 1st series focuses on the materials that were removed from the Vertical File. They were organized into subjects and then placed alphabetically into the boxes. The 2nd series is the first two accessions that were pulled (UA 2022-11 and UA 2023-11). Within the series, it was then subdivided into 4 subseries which focused on the four primary groupings: Paper, Newsletters, Miscellaneous Materials, and Photographs and Negatives. Within each subseries, materials were organized by subject or title and then placed primarily into alphabetical order.

Additional materials were added in the Fall and Winter of 2024/2025. Series 3 includes Plans of Works and Annual Reports for the Extension Program. Series 4 includes transcrips for interviews conducted with Extension personnel. The interviews were placed in alphabetical order based upon last name. Series 5 is photographs which were grouped by common topics. Series 6 has materials from College of Natural Resources work in the Extension offices and Administrative records. Series 7 has programing materials. Series 8 and 9 both focus on specific projects by Extension. Series 8 is records and photographs for an investigation into Pea Insect handling and Series 9 contains records from the Parma Research and Extension Center on the weather they experienced. The weather reports were put into chronological order.
