Biographical / Historical
Charles W. Behre (1929-2005) was born on August 24, 1929, and lived in New Jersey until he moved to the University of Idaho for college, where he joined the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity. He was a part of Greek life from 1948-1952, before joining the US Airforce. Moving back east, he met and married Marilyn Marvel. They had one daughter, Carolyn. He had a rich life of exploring and joining many country clubs. He was the Art Production Manager of Grolier's New Book of Knowledge Encyclopedia, 1971 edition and enjoyed a career in advertising. He passed from cancer on November 1, 2005 forever loving Idaho and the great outdoors.
