A collection of ten geological cross-sections with corresponding descriptions, showing locations in New Mexico, Wyoming, Utah, Colorado, and Arizona. All were written by A.G. Randall in May 1969.

Biographical / Historical
Carl Christian Kiilsgaard was born on April 20, 1925, in Inkom, Idaho. After fighting in both World War II and the Korean War, he was hired at the University of Idaho. He worked as a special assistant to the then president in charge of promotion and fundraising. He was also instrumental in the building of the Kibbe Dome. He later passed on October 6, 2009, after a brief battle with brain cancer.
