Biographical / Historical

Established in 1898, the Argonaut is a continuously published newspaper from the students at the University of Idaho. Reporting on the affairs of the university and surrounding community, they have continued to be an award-winning newspaper, publishing twice weekly.

Cooperative Housing began at the University of Idaho in 1932, starting on campus at Ridenbaugh Hall. The following years would see the opening of the Idaho Club, Lindley Hall, Campus Club, and the Ethel Steel House. Over the years, all the cooperative halls have closed, leaving behind their legacy.
