Biographical / Historical

Werner J. Ripplinger was born 24 November 1899 in Rexburg, Idaho. Ripplinger was a blind music teacher who lived in Buhl, Idaho for most of his adult life. He attended the University of Idaho in the 1920s. His wife, Itha Ripplinger (1905-2003), was from Utah and illustrated his autobiography. Ripplinger died 15 September 1993 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
