Biographical / Historical

The Magic lode was discovered by A. O’ Donnell, P. Sullivan, and G. Turner around September 15, 1897, and created a mining claim for the area on October 14, 1897. In October of 1915, Joseph Turner filed a patent to create the Champion Group, which would link the Magic lode and Champion lode together. The name would be changed in 1916 to the Magic Copper Mining Company with the event of incorporation.
