Biographical / Historical

Henry W. Curtis was born in 1854 in England. His family moved to the United States in 1960, first to the East Coast and then to Utah. He opened his hardware store in Blackfoot, Idaho in 1885 which he opereated as a general store and trading post. He served in political office in the area for a number of years. He was invovled in various organizations including the Odd Fellows and Ancient and Free Masons. Curtis died in 1927 in Blackfoot.
