Biographical / Historical
Ernest W. Hartung served as president of the University of Idaho from 1965 to 1977, having the Hartung Theater named after him in 1977. Having served for eleven years, Hartung amassed an expansive collection of papers from his office. Hartung died in 2003 in Florida.
