The 1834-1838 financial journal and ledgers of Fort Hall were copied from Oregon Historical Society microfilm R-578, and the material is copyrighted by them. Permission to publish excerpts must be obtained in writing from the Society.

Arrangement
Original order retained. Items were originally housed in three-ring binders; archivist rehoused materials in acid-free folders.
Immediate Source of Acquisition
The photocopies of the Fort Hall account books were donated to the University of Idaho Library by Charles E. Simpson of Pocatello, Idaho, in May 1990.

Items in this collection are photocopies of microfilmed versions of the original items, held by the Oregon Historical Society.
