Biographical / Historical
Wyoming "Omie" Smith was born in Sweetwater County, Wyoming in 1875. She served as the district historian for the Idaho North Central District Federation of Women's Clubs. She was married to Robert Smith. Omie died in 1973.
The Idaho Federation of Women's Clubs is part of an international community service organization- GFWC -which provides education, training and interaction opportunities for volunteers who are committed to individual growth and community improvement to enrich the quality of life throughout Idaho and the world. The North Central District is one of the districts serving Idaho.
