Biographical / Historical
The Worthwhile Club was a ladies organziation in Idaho. It was started in 1929 by Mrs. Adolph Carlson and Mrs. Wesley Goddard. They created a constitution in which the mission of the club was to promote friendship of women in their neighborhood and help with worthy projects in the community. In 1938, they erected a monument amrking the junction of Steven's Trail and Greater Nez Perce Trail. In the 1940s, membership grew to approximately 35 women. They discontinuted meetings in 2006.
