This series contains photographs, slides, and negatives, primarily of students and performers at the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival. These include sound checks, clinics, rehearsals and performances. Other photographs include music students and the Jazz Festival Office staff. Included are also some promotional and other photographs of artists, not at the festival, primarily Lionel Hampton, Buddy Rich, Billy Contreras and Gene Krupa.
