1 folder : C.E. Arney, former warden of the Idaho Penitentiary and an official of the Northern Pacific Railway Co., corresponded with C.J. Brosnan from 1917 to 1939 on a variety of historical subjects. In addition to the 17 items of correspondence the folder contains several of Arney's newspaper articles on early Idaho history including "How Idaho Won Statehood", Moscow, Star-Mirror, Jan. 13, 1923, and "Arney Tells Inside Story of 1901 All Night Caucus".
