From the Collection:
The materials in the Sunshine Mine Fire Records span 1959-1997 with the bulk of the materials covering 1972-1978. This collection includes large portion of materials pertaining to the legal proceeding and transcripts of the mine fire. Materials also include newspaper clippings, governmental documents and publications, correspondence, and notes containing fire logs.
