Donald Mills graduated from the University of Idaho in 1950 with a Bachelor of Music. He was born 12 August 1924 in Port Orchard, Washington. He lived for a time in Nampa, Idaho and served in the U.S. Army during WWII. The photos feature his time on the European front as well as images of the University of Idaho. He and his wife immigrated to Canada in 1961. Donald Mills died 25 December 2023 in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Materials were donated to the University of Idaho by the Co-Executors of his will, Michael Boyle and Richard Ottewell of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.
